News: Holiday gift fair at the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library
|
 The Friends of Library in Zionsville are hosting a Holiday Gift Fair on Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the Library. The hours are 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. on Saturday and 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. on Sunday.
Since the event starts before the Library opens on Saturday, December 1, use the Fifth Street entrance on Saturday morning.
There will be 17 vendors offering an assortment of special handmade and retail items including books, toys, jewelry, ornaments, wood carved items, hand quilted gifts, doll clothes, candles, soaps, toiletries and health care products.
In addition the Friends of the Library staff will be selling an array of modestly priced gifts from $1 to $30 including gently used books.
The vendors will be located in the Fifth Street lobby, at the entrance to Youth Services near the aquarium, and in the Hussey Meeting Room, also near our fish.
The Friends store will be located in the Hoffman Meeting Room that is adjacent to the Hussey Room. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sales of crafted items [made by the Friends and Library staff] and books will be used to support the Library program offerings for all ages.
